rebels without a clue

The original "there must be some way to get through to these kids" movie, this one has not held up well. Characterizations that might have passed as realistic in 1955 are nothing of the sort now, and neither Glenn Ford nor Sidney Poitier is well-cast. Anne Francis will have you doing a double-take, since she's dolled up exactly like Marilyn Monroe. Not a bad movie all in all, but the difference between this and Rebel Without a Cause is striking.
