A high-concept, big-budget, mega-star, Spielberg-directed small film. Tom Hanks does a convincing job as a foreigner gradually picking up English, while Stanley Tucci is even better as the frustrated Homeland Security official. It's not ambitious, but if you are susceptible to Spielberg's charms, you'll enjoy this one.
