A remake of the 1997 Alejandro Amenábar movie Abre los ojos, which I haven't seen. I'm regretting that now, since the story has plot twists that I don't think will hold up to a second viewing. That wouldn't be a problem if Vanilla Sky were the better film, but I think Crowe missed something here — it is not quite coherent as a love story, detective story, or... well, I won't spoil it for you too.
