Ah, Neil LaBute. I don't love his movies, but watching one is so refreshing — like a colonic performed with Drano. He comes from the stage, and this movie started as a play with the same cast. Like in his other movies, he shows us a side of reality that we seldom (and never want to) see, but does it with such incomparable sharpness you almost enjoy the manipulation.
