Starring Mos Def, Zooey Deschanel

A by-the-numbers adaptation of the famous Douglas Adams book that doesn't quite capture the zaniness of the novel. Even the text-based adventure game was more fun. Zooey has nothing to do but look fetching, while Bill Nighy seems to be at a total loss. The whole thing feels rushed, although I seem to recall the book being rather thin. Except for the nice opening dolphin musical number, the whole enterprise is bordering on lame.
